“Who are We?” Community, identity and belonging at HKU

This project will provide an analysis of what it means to be a ‘HKUer’. The challenges of the past two years have tested the relationships between people in our community and this project aims to shed light on how recent events have affected student perceptions of their community.

We will work with a group of student collaborators, who will conduct semi-structured interviews with other HKU students. Our aim is to provide the institution, students and staff with an enriched understanding of the current state of our community and offer concrete steps for preserving and enhancing that community.
